WOW!!! Lotz Renovations truly exceeded our expectations!!! Three room remodel and I don't have one regret. Lotz owned the remodel from beginning to end. Not only did they make our dream kitchen become a reality, they made it better! Helping tweak design, pick colors / materials and delivering quality craftsmanship all along the way. One of the most impressive part of the job is that they delivered ON TIME!!!! My kitchen, family room and laundry room are fully remodeled and we LOVE IT!!!! I guess I do have one regret...not being able to afford remodeling the bathrooms at the same time!! I can't wait for Lotz Renovations to do another remodel when I'm ready. Just purchased a home that was in need of major renovation and went to Lotz with just ideas of what colors we wanted for cabinets. He came by with samples got that squared away and next was the drawing and we were amazed and it turned out better than we could have imagined. The kitchen is now my favorite room of the house and I don’t even cook! He made sure everything was handled correctly and went smoothly also took care of any questions we had and went the extra mile with every decision from best sink to best faucet recommendations. Mike and Lotz Renovations renovated our small shower back in October. He removed and replaced the tile, shower doors, shower base, sink and vanity top. All the sub-contractors he used were very professional and Mike came every day to make sure things were being done right and was able to do some work himself. He made everything run as smooth as possible. Mike is not your typical contractor who disappears while the work is being performed or takes days to reply. Mike is detail oriented, a breeze to work with and always responded quickly when we had any concerns or questions. The fact that he communicates from start to finish eases the stress of any remodel. I’ve been through many remodeling projects. I wish I had used him for my kitchen! Everything looks great(I don’t impress easily)and I would definitely recommend him to anyone. This was the second time Mike and his team worked on my home — the first was the kitchen renovation, and this most recent project was the primary bathroom, which had not been updated in nearly 40 years. The short version of this review is simple: the bathroom came out perfectly. From helping us pick tile to carefully moving a 500-pound cast iron tub two inches from its original location because I wanted it adjusted, Mike was accommodating, thoughtful, and meticulous throughout the entire project. While no one truly enjoys living through construction in their home, Mike and his team were always respectful, professional, and exceptionally neat. As a homeowner, I also appreciated how much Mike explained throughout the process. I learned a lot about the details behind the renovation and the work involved, which made me feel informed and confident every step of the way. We had siding/fascia & screen damage from the recent " derecho" that blew through the midwest this summer. Michael walked with the adjustor to be certain that all the damage was noted and accounted for by the insurance adjustor. Once the claim was approved, Michael moved quickly to to repair the damage. Unlike some contractors (we hear about)he was very accessible and returned all communication promptly. Lotz Renovations took extra time and paid attention to the small details. We appreciated his guidance , work and if needed will return to his company for work needed ! ~ Robert G

Mike and his team of floor refinishers, electricians and carpenters did an outstanding job removing a wall, refinishing our oak floors and updating our island, as well as trimming out a support column. The Lots renovation team is very friendly and personable and went the extra mile to insure we were satisfied. My wife works nights and Mike did a great job to keep that in mind while scheduling work! I found Lotz Renovations online when looking for a certified Andersen contractor to replace two windows (an octagon and a four-panel with casements on opposite sides). I’m so glad I did. Mike was always prompt with communication throughout the entire process, which took some time given the inventory backlog so common during COVID. Everything went smoothly on installation day. Mike and his crew arrived on time and were able to wrap up slightly ahead of schedule. Cleanup was immaculate. The new windows look great, inside and out. The casements open so easily. The screens are nearly transparent compared to previous. Quality install on a quality product. Mike ended up making an additional trip out a few weeks after install to deliver the screens (more backlogged inventory issues). He was always a pleasure to be around, a nice bonus. He backs up his work and is dedicated to making sure his customers are happy. I can easily recommend him! ~ Daryl B

Mike Lotz did an excellent job identifying problems with multiple windows, a door to the outside, and damaged gable vents. He did not just try to sell us on replacing all our windows -- because that was not needed. Mike then helped us select the right replacements, did the work efficiently, cleaned up afterwards, and followed through on every commitment he made. We originally hired Lotz Renovations to install some safety bars in our walk-shower. Mike was prompt to answer the call, and even came out on a Sunday in order to accommodate us. The job was done well, and clean up was a snap. So when we decided to install a new tile floor we called Mike. He oversaw each step of the process. Demo of the old floor was quick, the tile installers did a beautiful job with their installation, and clean up was thorough. We have used Lotz Renovations several times over the past twenty years as our “go-to” for the exterior painting and siding repair on our home. This past summer, I called to get on the schedule for painting again – and asked Mike if he could come evaluate the exterior cedar siding as there were more than a few boards that needed replacing (dry, cracked or rotting boards). Mike is also a certified Therma-tru door installer, so we asked him to order and install a new exterior side door on the house. Mike gave us a fair and realistic estimate of the costs to replace the siding, order and install the door (and haul away the old one) and completely paint the exterior of the house. He negotiated discounted costs for the cedar siding when he could (shortages and shipping backlogs were causing price increase within weeks of each other) – and he passed that savings on to us! He and his crew were on time, respectful, dedicated and efficient. The house is beautiful!! I have always been happy with the work Lotz Renovations has done, and I definitely and unequivocally recommend them! ~ Wendy D

Lotz Renovations completed our kitchen renovation. From the start, Mike helped us to develop a plan, choose cabinetry, tile, countertop and accessories in a very smooth, comfortable process. Once the work started, he completed removal of the old kitchen quickly, always mindful of keeping dust and dirt to a minimum with plastic drapes. Mike Lotz and his team did a great job of installing my new Therma Tru door and sidelight. They did the whole project, including some additional trim work I requested, in just three hours. There were some minor issues with the door seal but these were primarily factory defects. Mike's trim carpenters did exceptional work. I would recommend Mike and his team. ~ David S
